Plain version first: we are a platform that connects models and clients. The booking agreement is between the two of them, not with us. Models own their images. Clients get exactly the usage they agreed to and nothing more. Everything below is the longer form of those four sentences.
You must be 18 or older. By creating a profile or submitting a booking request you confirm that you are, and that everything you enter is accurate.
Model Hustle is a directory and booking platform. We are not a modelling agency, a manager, or an employer. We do not represent talent, we do not take a commission on rates agreed directly between a model and a client, and we are not a party to the agreement they reach. Where we provide managed casting or production as a paid service, that is a separate engagement described on our services page.
Your portfolio is reached through a secret link rather than a password. Treat it like a password: anyone who has it can edit your profile. Do not post it publicly. Tell us immediately if you think it has been exposed and we will issue a new one.
You own your photographs. By uploading, you grant Model Hustle a non-exclusive, revocable licence to display them on your profile, in search results, on comp cards you generate, and in reasonable promotion of the platform itself. That licence ends when you remove the image or your profile. We do not sell your images, license them to third parties, or use them to train AI models.
Every booking request must state how the images will be used: the usage type, licensing period, territory, exclusivity, and whether AI or synthetic-media training is permitted. These fields are mandatory because they are the deal.
Using images beyond what was agreed is a breach — of these terms and, potentially, of the model's copyright and publicity rights. Extending a licence, adding a territory, or using material for AI training after the fact requires a new agreement with the model.
We generate licence and release records from the terms agreed on each booking, so both sides have the same document. To be exact about what this is: it is a record of what was agreed, not legal advice, and we do not scan the internet for misuse. We will not claim a monitoring capability we do not have.
Fees for booking credits, Model Pro, and managed services are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice. Payments are processed by Stripe. Model Hustle does not hold your money. Payouts go directly to the recipient's own Stripe account. Nothing we do is escrow, and we do not describe it as such.
Rates agreed between a model and a client are theirs to settle. Non-payment by a client is a matter between the parties, though we will remove clients who do not pay.
Prohibited: impersonating anyone; uploading images of another person as your own; sexual content or requests outside a model's stated boundaries; harassment; pressuring anyone to change their boundaries on set; scraping or bulk-downloading profiles; contacting models for anything other than legitimate professional work.
Reports of conduct on set are taken seriously. We may suspend or permanently remove any account, either side of the platform, for a breach of this section.
Position in search and browse is not for sale. Model Pro adds features and a tier label; it does not buy a higher ranking, and we do not accept payment for placement.
You may remove your profile at any time. A removed profile goes offline immediately and its images stop being served. It is held privately for 30 days so an accidental removal can be reversed, then permanently deleted along with every stored image. We may also remove a profile for a breach of these terms.
The platform is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a model will be booked, that a client will be satisfied, that a shoot will happen, or that either party will behave well. We verify what we reasonably can and we say plainly what we have not verified.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Model Hustle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a booking, a cancellation, a dispute, or a breach of usage terms by a client. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You agree to cover us against claims arising from content you upload that you did not have the right to use, or from your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be emailed to members. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
